Whetstone, Leics. Update

Things really picked up at the start of the week, at long last, with two particularly good nights adding the bulk of the additions since my last post. No less than 20 species added on Wednesday 19th night, 12 on Tuesday 18th night and 9 on Monday 17th making up 41 of the 48 added. Total now up to 149.

Main highlight has been Cydia ulicetana - a garden tick (326th micro, 629th moth). Also the first Ptycholoma lecheana since 2007 (albeit a worn one), Ringed China-mark (less than annual), fourth garden Treble-bar and first in spring, first Scorched Wing since 2010 and also good to see Isotrias rectifasciana (added to garden list last year).
