Whetstone, Leics. Update

Catches over the last few nights are certainly going the right way, though still feels a long way short of the 100+ species and 480+ individuals I've managed a few times during July prior to 2012. Trap totals this week have been:

03/07/2013 - 96 of 45sp.
04/07/2013 - 129 of 61sp.
05/07/2013 - 217 of 76sp.
06/07/2013 - 224 of 73sp.

I suspect the catches on 5th and 6th would have been a few moths better had the local Blackbirds not got there first. They've even had the gall to grab one or two whilst I'm processing the trap. List now up to 220, with 39 additions over the above four nights:
